I don’t speak Dutch. Yet, I will try to learn! I’m a quiet girl, I spend more time listening than talking especially in groups, because it takes a little for me to come out of my shell. One on one when I know you, I’ll talk about anything. I love adventure and travel. I like the funfair and theme parks. I read a fair bit and I like movies. Though if you ask me to pick one to watch, you’ll be there all day. If I want to escape I’ll go for a drive or head to a forest or beach. The only thing missing from that is a dog. (some day). I do like meeting with friends for a few beers but my passion is gin. I have a fairly substantial collection. I enjoy live music, it doesn’t even matter what or who as long as it isn’t hip hop/rap. I love going to see comedians, or just putting one on the box. I have a sense of humour that is quite dry and sarcastic and tends toward innuendo but, it seems to make people laugh. I work full time at a job I’ve done for the last 14 years. It’s varied, I meet a lot of like minded people and I get to move around a bit so I like it. If I had to judge myself, negative traits i have are I’m initially shy but generally quite cynical and pretty black and white. Positive traits, I’m kind to people, whether they are kind in return or not, I’ll try anything once and I don’t judge.
I am tattooed fairly extensively, none obnoxious, offensive or uncover-able as I like to be able to be me and still be professional and respectable. I don’t know if I’ll get any more but, I like what I have.
What I am looking for
I’m not looking for the world and I don’t expect to find it. But my philosophy in life is that a connection, however tenuous can become something you never expected or even thought you were looking for. So give everyone the same chance you would want them to give you. No one truly knows what they are looking for, until they find it.
I’m no exception, I don’t know what I’m looking for, life is a long complex rollercoaster. I’ve had loads of ups, some downs and plenty of climbs. Right now I’m climbing from a low but, you can’t have the high without the effort of the climb. Friends, old and new do make it easier though........
